Convert was formally introduced in 2008 by the founders of Digi-Net after several years of development, testing and use on internal and pilot sites. It was initially designed as our solution to provide insight and direction related to our own online marketing and conversion needs. As the parent company of Prospector, a pioneer in the performance based conversion marketing and lead generation space, we had significant needs that simply weren’t able to be met by existing technology providers.
We piloted the Convert solution with a few key customers in varying industries, while having deep conversations and conducting research with online marketers regarding their own needs. Those conversations yielded thoughts very much inline with our own:
‣We needed suite of technologies that empowered us to turn our websites into high performance lead generating and sales machines.
‣We had to be able to easily test and deploy marketing content and various engagement points without the need for techies or other I.T. involvement.
‣As marketers and not I.T. folks, we needed software that was incredibly easy-to-use and deploy. We wanted to be able to dynamically create conversion points on the website and test them against each other or different conversion channels, without having to touch any other technology solutions (or I.T.).
‣We really wanted a single, universal view of every customer. No more compiling piece-meal reports from different analytics, e-mail and other conversion point providers. Our visitor engine keeps a literal online biography for every visitor to the website, including every action, preference and response they’ve experienced with us. Forever.
Convert is our enterprise-level marketing black box easy enough for anyone to use. It’s our answer to change and more importantly empower online marketers with the ability to write their own marketing success stories.
